I’ve not been out and about with the camera as much as I would have liked so far this year, so when we went on a camping holiday to the Brecon Beacons(Bannau Brycheiniog), I made sure to plan days visiting spots that I had bookmarked in Google Maps as photo locations to visit.
Having visited a lot of the reservoirs and lakes in North Wales on previous trips, but not really having ventured down to the south, I had a fair few markers waiting to be ticked off. Llyn Brianne Dam & Reservoir was within a reasonable distance of our campsite, so it became the primary target of a day trip.
The structure and views are as impressive as I had hoped; it’s only a shame that the water wasn’t spilling over.
